Win Tickets To Pet Shop Boys - Lingerie Fashion Shows

English electronic duo Pet Shop Boys shot to the top of the British pop world in 1984 with their debut single, “West End Girls,” and they’ve been there ever since, releasing album after album of dance music so filled with insanely catchy hooks that it can sometimes obscure their pretty intelligent pop songcraft.

But they’re not just some UK phenomenon, as their massive international fan base can attest—”West End Girls” was actually a dancefloor hit on the west coast of the US before being re-recorded for worldwide release.

Their most recent effort, and their first on their own label, is called Electric, and it’s been heralded as a return to form after a few weaker outings in recent years. It’s certainly as smart and inventive as their best work: among the many highlights is a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s recent “The Last to Die” that seamlessly reworks the Boss into a club-ready anti-war anthem.

You don’t have to be on the dancefloor to enjoy the Pet Shop Boys, though. They might make dance music, but song titles like “Love is a Bourgeois Construct” are enough to convince us that they’ll be just fine in a room like the Schnitz (show details). Which is good, because we’ve got two tickets to give away.

Enter to win tickets to the Pet Shop Boys on October 4.
