Though we’ve all barely recovered September’s mania of MFNW, TBA, Portland Fashion Week, and end of summer fests, the time has come to slap new Band-Aids on those high-heel induced blisters and head to Vigor Shipyards for the second incarnation of FashioNXT.

Producer Tito Chowbury (former big-wig at Portland Fashion Week) always manages to magically turn the sleepy shipyards into a buzzing hub of fashion folks mingling amongst floral sculptures, waiting for the beats to begin. Once again this year he maintains his relationship with the Project Runway crew by bringing in some big names from the show, as well as some of our own Portland alums, including Seth Aaron.

Wed Oct 9 [ Buy Tickets ]	Philippines on the Runway Presented by US-Philippines Society, Washington, D.C. Runway Designers: Alan Del Rosario Anthony Cruz Legarda Francis Libiran  David Tupaz  OUR PICKS: Last week's Miss World pagent saw the crowning winner wearing a stunning gown by designer Frances Libiran. If it's good enough to be at the top of the world, it's good enough for us.

This is some of the freshest young talent in Portland coming together before a panel of tough judges (myself included) to win the annual title of who is "Up Next."
Friday Oct 11S [ Buy Tickets ]	Presented by Intel International Day of the Girl - Girl's Inc. Fundraiser Benefiting Girls Inc, the NW Oregon chapter of a national non-profit, dedicated to the empowerment of girls. Girls Inc. works to inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold, and develop the skills and tools they need to lead healthy, academically successful, and independent lives. Supports include, portion of ticket sales, hosting a fund-raising event, design of auction items and more. Runway Designers: The Portland Collection by Pendleton,  Spring 14 (Debut of Spring line of  The Portland Collection) Lenzanita South Dakota. Spring Men's and Women's Spring 14. Ethos Paris  Spring 14 Collection Stephanie D Couture . Portland . Spring 14 Collection Michelle Lesniak (Premier of first major collection after winning Project Runway Season 11, Portland) . Fall 14. Presented by Intel Our Picks: The first ever spring collection of our beloved Pendleton Portland Collection? Count us in for sure. Add Michelle Lesniak's new collection as s current Runway champ and it's all just icing on the cake. Be at this show.
Saturday Oct 12 [ Buy Tickets ]	Runway Show Designers: Seth Aaron  (Project Runway, Winner Season 7, Allstar Season 3).  Not Equal by Fabio Costa & Rachele Diele ( Fabio, Project Runway),  Spring 14 Collection Goga by Gordana (Los Angeles), Spring 14 Couture Collection Walter Collection  (Los Angeles), Spring 14 Couture Collection Joshua Christensen  (Project Runway Season 9) Spring 14 Collection. Michael Costello (Project Runway Allstar) Spring 14 Couture Collection. Our picks: If you love Project Runway or just stunning drama, this night can't be missed. After Michael Costello stunned on the runway two years in a row, we can only hope his new pieces are half as good. At this point, we're almost giddy about it.
